Yes. The new stereo turns on but i cannot hear anything. I bought the harness and have checked all of the connections to make sure they are all ok, but still no sound. What I noticed from the harness is that on one part there are five wires, four of them connect to a wire on the car but one of them does not match. Could that be the problem?

My 01 suburban has a factory amp located behind the glove box. When you replace the head unit you have to connect the pink wire on one of the other harnesses to the power or the amp doesn't get power, so your speakers won't work. The previous owner ran speaker wires from the dash to the doors.

I have a 2001 z71 suburban im installing a aftermarket sony stereo. Everything is good but the problem i ran into is there is another plug that came out of the stock stereo that idk where it goes. It doesnt go into the aftermarket one and it says nothing about splicing it into the new stereo plug.
