Assuming you have factory Bluetooth audio (included on my 2010 Prius 4 with the jbl premium sound option), it's in the audio settings, not phone settings on the head unit. You have to add the device when parked as one of the portable music players (I think 2 are allowed). This is a separate menu from the one where you set up Bluetooth for calls.

A2DP (advaned audio distribution profile) needs two BT channel (obviously left and right for stereo). It sucks power very quickly (imagine the power it takes to talk on your phone and multiply it by 2!). If Toyota support AVRCP (audio video remote control profile) with 2010 Prius, then you can control the music from the MFD.

I bought the same car a month ago and also have a HTC phone. Stream is right that our Prius III does not have bluetooth audio. Our car does have an audio jac that works well with the phone. Just plug in the phone to the audio jac and set the stereo to aux. The sound is amazing in this car.
