I was hoping you guys could help me out with a little problem I've ran an HDMI 1.3 cable from my PC with an ATI Radeon HD 4870 (OEM DVI to HDMI adapter) through my Sony STR-DG720 into my Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 1080. My problem was the hdmi lead, but guess the hdmi/dvi converter could also be the issue. very weird. from boot up to windows start screen, the secondary display would work fine using the broken hdmi cable. As soon as windows had loaded, the sony tv went black. I could also get the secondary display working when in safe mode.
