Click on the driver tab, click on update driver. Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the driver folder 7-Zip created. I found out that the 785G chipset only outputs 2 channel sound over HDMI, so I purchased a Radeon 6450 to get 5.1 HDMI audio output. The problem is that in my playback devices it's not listing the AMD 6450 HDMI out. It only lists one device "Digital Audio (HDMI)" 2- High Definition Audio Device It's using a Microsoft driver.

I installed a Radeon HD6450 in my tower so I could use the HDMI to my TV. Unfortunately, there is no audio over that cable; when I go to Windows "Sound" control panel selection, there is no choice to use HDMI for audio. Does this card have that capability? I'd like to pass through 5.1 audio via the HDMI rather than use a 3.5mm stereo audio.

Hi Folks, I have everything running on 10.9 except HDMI sound. Thought you might be able to help me out get HDMI Sound out of my graphics card (Sapphire Radeon HD 6450 1GB DDR3). I get video no problem but no sound. Let me know if I can do anything. Really appreciate it if you could help...
