FT-857 No Audio - Confirmed Issue. Mark Schroeder, W7KHZ. 5/11/20 #5716. I did not see a follow up response to this discussion, as it was a solution looking for an answer. One of the problems I have been having is pushingTX Audio through the radio using the MFJ audio cable for the RigPi and this model (and likely the same for other Yaesu models).

FT-857 and FT-897 are working as follows: When DIG (for SSB) or PKT (for FM) mode is selected, the transceiver will pass audio from the rear Data connector only. When USB, LSB, FM, AM mode is selected, the transceiver will pass audio from the front Mic connector only.
