Audio AC3 Codec. I am running QT 10.2 on OSX Mountain Lion 10.8.2. I installed an A52/AC3 Codec that is suppopsed to play AC3 Audio in QT. The instruction said to put 1 component in Library/Component and the other in Library/Quicktime. In the System folder there is also a Library/component and Library/Quicktime folders.

I’m trying to play an .avi movie. The movie info in QT says the video codec is DivX 5.0 and audio codec is 'ms'. VLC is able to play the movie fine, and it says the audio codec is a52. I have already installed the requisite divx, xvid and perian codecs. I have also set perian properties to stereo. I’m not sure wats wrong still.
