When I try to record audio from my microphone in to live, the audio skips a lot and sounds choppy. Sounds a lot like when an old cordless phone is just starting to get out of range and repeatedly cuts out for ~0.1s. I've tested recording using another application and it sounds just fine, so it's not the microphone.
