This is only happening during the last days, I have tested several headphones and the problem remains in both Windows and ubuntu linux, so unfontunately its a hardware/audio jack problem. Hello, I've recently purchased an Acer Aspire 3 A315-41. I've noticed that there is a sound issue. The headphone socket may be loose on the pcb or it may even be damaged. If it is damaged then it will have to be replaced as it cannot be repaired.
