I was not able to demo the A7's, but I spoke to a couple of very well regarded pro audio dealers and the consensus was that the A7's were not that impressive, despite the hype. I even had a dealer who is rather well known on this forum tell me to get the BM5's even though he was an Adam dealer and NOT a Dynaudio dealer.

16. Have had the A5's for some time now and am very happy with them. They were the only speaker that I felt had some of the life and spark of my Merlin TSM's. I've got lots of experience on the BM5a-mkII, BM6a-MK1, and the Adam AX7s. The Adams are the most natural, unhyped high-end of the bunch. The HF ribbon instead of a tweeter makes a big difference. The Dynaudios are just so bright that they're a bit deceiving.
