M3 had a snappier, more precise sound. The B22 is warmer, seems less precise in the bass - slightly warmed over, which can work with certain headphones, but I prefer something less like this. The M3 amp also needs a power supply and very conveniently AMB also offers PSU kits. The recommended power supply is the AMB σ11 and to provide enough voltage swing it was configured to output ~36V. For OPAMPS I was recommended to try the Analog Devices AD843JN so that's what i currently have installed.

Re: Troubleshooting M³. by stew1234 » June 12th, 2020, 3:54 am. Yes, I double-checked both. Attached is the current set up. I have one LED plugged into the bottom board but have tried it on both. I'm getting 27.3v output from the S11 and the same reading on the v+/v- pads of both boards. The LED lights up when connected to the S11.

Much more voltage swing, much more power, all-discrete complementary topology with cascoding in every stage, and a bigger, more complex project to build.
