I’ve been doing car audio for a good minute, stepped away a few years ago. Originally I wanted to go with Fi Audio, but decided to give American Bass a shot. I heard one of their subs before and hit low. So I bought a 12 XFL and thinking of going with a 3 cu ft ported box tuned around 32hz. Gotta love them low lows.

Huge magnets and great craftsmanship. I have 2 of their 12" subs at @1ohm being powered by an American Bass VFL4480 at half gain and the sound quality is aggresively deep and precise. I dove in to American Bass (after only running jl audio) for my recent system in my 325XI and can not be happier with the quality. This is bang for your buck people.

And Its clean sounding with Country, Rock, Rap, bass tests, just about everything I've played. I replaced 2 kicker L5 12"s with this one 10". It just has a better range to it.

I always thought american bass was a cheap brand like boss. But 3 12w7's are expensive. Also I think they are like 750wrms each, so off a single 1000.1, it wouldn't be worth it.
