At the moment there's no need to route the video through the Marantz at all. Connect HDMI from the DVD to HDMI-1 input on the TV. Connect an optical digital cable from the DVD player to one of the optical inputs on the Marantz (Dig 1) . This should be the DVD input on the amp by default.

Hi Looking at the specs for Marantz SR4001 and it says it has hdmi video/audio switching. Can some-one tell me if this then will allow me to plug 1 hdmi lead from my hda1 into it and hdmi from a ps3 into it and having 1 hdmi out to the projector ?
