Dynaudio Focus 110.....Integrated amp????
https://forum.audiogon.com/discussions/dynaudio-focus-110-integrated-amp
After trying out several T and class D amps, the Virtue M9001, 30 Watt Nuforce, and Nad D7050 I am convinced that 110's need a lot of power or an amp that has a large damping factor. The Virtue, Nuforce, and Nad have very large damping factors and control the 110's very we'll putting out lots of tight bass at moderate listening levels.

After auditioning various speakers, I have decided to add some Dynaudio Focus 110 bookshelves along with the 200C center channel to my setup. The demo amplifier that was used was a Plinius 9200 integrated. It was a very good combination but a bit pricey for an integrated unit, IMO.

Dynaudios typically are a fairly tough drive, being both relatively insensitive and fairly low impedance. According to Hi-Fi Choice, the Rotel RA-1062 integrated amp is quite conservatively rated. Most significant here is that they measured 145 watts into 4 ohms, so I would expect you would have no difficulty using it with the Focus 110.

Dynaudio speakers pair well with Densen electronics. Although the Beat B-100 is rated at 60w/ch however (as with all other Densen amplification) this is backed up by a large power power supply and storage capacitance which will help deliver current rich power to maintain stability and energize the Focus 110's just nicely.

I am looking for good synergy between the Focus 110 and new amp. Well, a boomy bass can be had from the 110's (in limited quantity) if they are placed in a corner, but this is the domain or the 140, mostly. The 110, on solid stands, will enjoy some side reinforcement, tyvm, 2 feet or less, depending on your room.

So I bought some Dynaudio Focus 110's at Christmas, got them do a real bargain -£600! Love them to pieces. But because I only had enough funds to buy a cheap amp I got a Marantz 6004 which isn't enough to drive these 4ohm babies. It was just to get me going. I have a friend who'll buy it off me once I choose a replacement.
