The AM660 is the opposite of a snappy type compressor. The sound it gives on bass has a very Motown vibe. On acc. GTRs it's great but you gotta be careful with the settings. Like an 1176, I wouldn't trust the meter. I think I will use my pair mostly for vocals, even for a more modern type of music.
