I have an Antec 1200 with the front audio header plugged into my Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer. I do not hear any static, but if I move the mouse, I get some sort of crosstalk and I can hear a static noise. But this only happens when I am moving the mouse. It is annoying to use when browsing the web or playing games, but with movies it is fine.

The antec 900 has a wire to connect the front panel audio to the motherboard using either "HD audio" or "ac97'". The problem is that with the new wire layout the "HD audio" won't reach that port I pictured above, I can just barely reach the ac97, so I have to figure out a way to make it longer using like an extension wire or something.
