I was searching for a similar answer. I have K9NGM4 and cannot get the front audio to work with an Antec Sonata Case. The differences in the connections are from two different audio specification HD Audio and AC97. The pins on the board are for labeled HD Audio and the pins on the front panel are labeled for AC97.

The front audio connectors were only in the front of my sonata for about 45 minutes (see here ), but my advice would be to make up an extension lead with a 3.5mm plug on the back, wired to the front audio ports (see the manual for the case for a diagram) and then loop it through a spare PCI slot to the back of the card.
