The Apple TV 2010 has TOSLINK optical only. Does your Sony TV have an optical audio input? If it has TOSLINK you could do your audio straight from ATV to TV. If it does not, then you're a bit hosed. You'll have to get a TOSLINK to analog RCA converter to go to your Receiver. Unless I'm missing something in your setup. Best, Jim
