i am having the same problem with my extigy once i did the 10.5.7 update it is no longer recoginized. I attempted to replace the appleusbaudio.kext file but on restart I get a message saying the file was installed improperly and is cannot be used. Does anyone have a solution or input to help me get the file to work. Thanks

Edit2: It appears that the Extigy stopped working with AppleUSBAudio kext version 10.5.7 and later. If I downgrade it to 10.5.6 and I'm running Mac OS X 10.6.7, will it mung up my hackintosh? Edit3: Looks like it's a no-go. Other sites claims that it works but only in 32-bit mode.
