Updating from nvidia-304.60-3 to nvidia-310.19-2 broke my audio through HDMI. Downgrading to nvidia 304 again fixes the problem (workaround). I'm using a Nvidia GeForce GTS 250. Kernel is 3.6.6-1-ARCH. Runnning Gnome with standard PulseAudio. I saved PulseAudio logs using both Nvidia drivers by running:

Note that there, one can also right-click on the sound/speaker (bottom left), select "Properties", and then click on "Run Audio Mixer".
