If it was silent then pulse is irrelevant and you either have a HW issue or something lower level. if speaker-test did not give you output you can try the LTS kernel or so or downgrading alsa-lib,alsa-ucm-conf,alsa-plugins to 1.2.5 or find out under which kernel it last worked.

Yesterday I updated arch's pulseaudio package. Now the system doesnt boot properly. Im getting the info saying "Something went wrong. The system couldnt restore. All extensions have been disabled." Then it wants me to logout. After loging back in with no extensions I cant control sound.

Pipewire 0.3.14 adds a pulse server which overrides the native PulseAudio daemon, you can check this with pactl info, and Pipewire as PulseAudio replacement is still not there, at least with BT is completely broken.
