I generally like the Planet Audio Radio GPS, it sounds good and I like the GPS. But one thing I do not like about it, is that even though the GPS display does dim when headlights are turned on, the brightness of the display isn't adjusted by my interior light brightness control and the display of the GPS is too bright at night,

Yep, I was wondering if anyone know about Planet Audio products. Are they crap or actually good products. I know that they are part of Zed Audio, but wasn't sure about the quality in a 4 channel amp that I found a good deal on (seems outrageously cheap, even for a refurb). The model is P200.4S and cannot find any info online.

Just wanted to say thanks. I grabbed one via in store pick up. Had it installed at a shop for $80. I had an initial issue of audio cutting off but the shop adjusted the gain on my amp and lowered in the radio. This thing sounds amazing. Now I want an even better one. Thanks again though.

The red wire was a problem and as I looked for any wiring diagrams I found that the instructions for this radio were insufficient. Without connecting it to power I could not use the radio even though my old radio (stock) worked with just yellow 12V. I checked Planet Audio's website online and got the same booklet as was included in my box.
