The preamp was well boxed and arrived with no issues. It has a quality feel to it with and looks like its built to last. The stock tube set up is ok but you will need to upgrade the rectifier and 6SN7 tubes if you want to hear what the Super can really do. I’m currently using a RCA rectifier and a set of CBS (5692’s).

Preamp is now incredible Got the Aric preamp with supplied 12at7 JAN's. After burn in my ears told me there wasn't much improvement, if any, over my Adcom 345. I ordered a matched, balanced pair of 12AU7 RCA Cleartop (side getter) tubes, and the system came to life.

Anyways I am selling a custom made Aricaudio "The Unlimited" tube preamp as well as all the tubes I've collected over the last year. I have never heard Aric’s preamps but I have the Aric Audio Transcend Push Pull. It sounds wonderful and powers my 85db, 8 ohm TAD ME-1’s with plenty of headroom. Lance tuberist 764 posts 01-01-2020 10:53am your speakers look like they demand a high current amp and I'm not sure any of the First Watt products would work....contact Pass direct.
