Update: This is weird but i don't have the permanent solution yet. The picture shown is what the default Asio4all settings look like. But on My older laptop, "Realtek HD Audio output" and "Realtek HD Audio Stereo Input" is active, and it sends sounds thru laptop speakers and headphones when plugged in.

Thanks for the suggestions. Nothing was working. So, I uninstalled SHS, reinstalled it and now I get the message "The following drivers either do not support the current audio format or are in use by another application." And it lists all the Realtek HD stuff (output, CD input, mic input, and Stereo input). The choices are Disable and Use Anyway.

I just downloaded Fruity Loops 11 producer edition on my new laptop. None of the audio packets will play sound. When I set up ASIO4ALL and go to the asio settings my Realtek HD Audio Stereo input says 'Beyond Logic' . I have been trying to find a solution for two day to no avail.
