I tried the latest ATI Realtek HDMI 1.97 drivers, but that just made the HDMI audio device not work. I noticed when i connected the PS3 via HDMI. the receiver acknowledges the HDMI, (displays on the receiver screen), but the HD4850 via HDMI, the receiver doesn't acknowledge any signal.... but i still get a picture on the TV.

Shouldn't the HD 4850 be able to do 1080p AND 7.1 surround sound over HDMI? My speakers are 5.1, and the HDMI goes from the PC to the TV. There's an SPDIF Coaxial cable going from the TV out to the Receiver for sound (the Receiver automatically recognizes 5.1 surround when I tune to PBS HD on my TV).
