Same issue. I will have to replace my RX 6800 with an RTX 3070 just like last time. Uninstalling the amd hd audio driver either leaves with me only stereo, or no audio at all. This is unacceptable that AMD is ignoring this problem that affects EVERY single navi card.

AMD RX 5700XT @ H₂O. I have issues with my audio when using my TV (LG 65C7) via HDMI (direct connection): The audio drops out intermittenly. The issue is worse when the computer was running for a while and less often when it has been freshly booted. It's an issue in general. I've already tried the trick of uninstalling the AMD Audio Driver but that doesn't help either. I'm using gold connectors, braided, high quality, HDMI 2.1 cables so that's most definitely not the issue. I also actually tried downgrading to Amazon Basic HDMI 2.0 cables and that didn't fix it either.
