This is to allow for some form of routing. I am currently taking a record feed from the audio desk (via the analogue inputs) and using this to go out via SDI for recording. I am then using the analogue outputs to be able to de-embed audio from other inputs for live video playback, to send the sound back to the audio desk and not create a loop.
