The quick version is to hit the CLRs with the hottest signals they're going to see then turn up the channel volume until it clips. Then, slightly back off the channel volume so the clipping indicator not longer lights up. This is the way the system was designed be used. From then on only use the master volume to adjust your levels. Hope this helps.

I tried power speakers, Studio Monitors, FR CAB ,going into the effects return of a combo amp and this is by far the best sound I've heard. I am a hobbyist and have had a few of the amp models in the AX8 and they sound spot on with the Atomic CLR and that blanket came off the front of the amp that people talk about.
