If this is the case and is not working you could try to make the Audio 4 DJ the default line-in for Windows and then select it in Audacity or select Windows Sound Mapper - Input, which should use the default input source. You should see the Audio 4 DJ under Control Panel -> Sound -> Recording. (This is also where you can select it as default.)
