Any cable connection is not bluetooth and does not use bluetooth codecs. You can't choose the audio codec. It is baked in when the file is created. Thank you JB. I am not thinking right, the 3.5mm jack is a cable connection. What I was trying to get at is whether the audio signal to the 3.5mm jack is compressed.
