The following is a record of a problem we had here with a debian Etch Security Update that we performed on 26 Aug. 2008. It has now been resolved. The culprit seems to have been the linux-image-2.6.18-5-686_2.6.18.dfsg.1-13etch6_i386.deb kernel package. However, there seems to be no maintainer for this or related packages.

Nada más instalar Debian Etch (estoy preparando un manual), me dí cuenta de que no me reconocía adecuadamente la tarjeta de sonido, una SoundBlaster ISA AWE 64, posiblemente la mejor tarjeta de sonido que he tenido jamás, y de la que no me quiero deshacer..
