Hello, I have Dell Inspiron 1420 with Windows Vista Home Edition. Recently I have formated my laptop and reinstalled the whole system with the drivers and programs. Right after that the audio system stopped working. Actually there was sound incoming from the laptop (for example, the headphones were working), but the speakers/line out did not work.

But installing this driver just results in an exclamation in device manager saying: "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)" I tried the newest driver and the older beta driver that they provide. The card is installed properly into the PCI slot. I am running Vista Ultimate.
