    The Empire 980 tonearm is 12 3/8" and from my measurements the Empire 98 is the same. The arm offset angle for the Empire 980 is 23.8 degrees. I don't have anything that can check to see if that angle is the same as the one on my Empire 98. inperson, Sep 15, 2007. #1.
