If you haven't pressed any notes it displays C1 by default. For the first preset (P01) press the top left button (Edit > Memory Recall) and then the P1 pad. trigger.png.

Thanks guy for your input. I do own a midi keyboard which is an M-Audio Axiom 25 as well as a Roland SH-201 both of which are old I know. I'll be totally honest and say that I am a gadget freak and the YouTube videos that I have seen of the Trigger Finger in action used for many forms of music are amazing to me.
