This is, unfortunately, the way it seems to work in version 9. Follow Tempo will still appear as an option for recorded tracks, though, so the work-around is to record your track to another Audio Track via a Buss and then enable Follow Tempo on the new track. Perhaps it has been fixed in 9.0.1 - I haven't had a chance to check yet. Tom
