On a side note I will state that with my current connection set-up I only get 5.1 audio with audio signals that are Dolby Digital encoded. Playing a game where 5.1 audio is experienced on my computer, only gives 2 channel audio (PCM) so unless the audio source is encoded for Dolby Digital, your stuck with 2 channel PCM.
