Man, at least with Audio Galaxy you can remove the spyware with Ad Aware (From Lavasoft). Grokster and Kaaza have taken it to a new level and now require that the spyware exists on your system to run their client. Take out the spyware (like anyone with half a brain would do) and the client ceases to run.

Audio Galaxy, KaZaA, and a couple others offered a couple of companion programs.. the names of which escape me at the moment.. that were apparently trojans.. but not the main apps. (None of which matters on a Mac, since the "real" programs are PC-only) I haven't heard of any such problems with the Mac client for Audio Galaxy.
