If this does not work, try connecting the NFB-15.32 to another USB port on your computer and try again. I have one computer where the NFB-15.32 does not like to work in the USB 3.0 ports, but it works fine in the USB 2.0 ports for some reason. You may also need to try different drivers on the Audio-gd website.

The Audio Gd NFB 15.32 is a wonderfully musical sounding solid state amp. It has a sensual warmth to it that really reminded me of a tube amp. The mids are super smooth and complement HD650s almost as good as tube amps. do (tubes really are the best for the 650).

The fixed/variable modes allow you to use the volume pot or give full signal through the line out which I do if I wanna use the Vali to have a tube sound with my 400i. The cons with the NFB 15.32 is probably the drivers if you look through the head-fi thread but I use optical out to save a USB slot on my mitx rig.
