I heard one but it’s such a long time ago and not in my own system, so it’s hard to be sure how good the L2 was. The overall sound was stellar as ever, but the dem room and supporting kit were top notch too. I’ve nev r heard a bad audio Innovations product, although they work best with the gear they were built around, such as Voyd and Snell.

The L2 is quiter a nice Pre in stock form with its valve regulated psu PIO coupling caps & two levels of gain. It also uses the Noble volume & balance pots. PvW's psu mod will have helped too so provided the price is reasonable it'd be a good buy. NB it is slightly wider than a standard 430mm item so check it'll fit your rack!

Just wondering if you guys think this would make a difference in my system. Low fi stuff. Nad c541cdp,audio innovations l2 tube pre amp, psb stratus golds, signal cables for speakes and ic. I was going to try a different pc for the preamp only because i didnt hear much of a difference coming from my pioneer elite 39tx to to the tube preamp.
