Hi, I have a no-name brand pair of earphones which also have a mic. When I connect the earphones through the audio jack, the audio plays back on them without any issues, but the microphone which is being used is still the internal microphone which is there in my laptop (earphones' mic has no issues, it works fine with my phone).
