The build up in memory allocation could be due to the continued reloading of all your Clips into RAM. (Each call will create an additional instance in RAM, and audio files are not cheap.) If you replay a Clip, only load it once and reuse it with multiple start() calls. Using SourceDataLine is another option.

Going to the Dell Support site I re-downliaded the Waves Maxx Audio installer (yes it was the same version as already installed) and ran the install. Completely normal memory usage afterwards (4-5mb).
