Thanks. I've struggled with this problem for days. voice communication worked fine. I updated to MSN Messenger and I suppose I can't have used it for a day or so. Then I installed a new web cam & combo mike and nothing would work. I've tried new drivers for webcam, sound card, pci boards etc. Unloaded s/ware, re-installed hardware everything.
