When I rebooted into my Linux Mint 11 CD xfce, sound in didn't work. I did notice something and was wondering if this maes a difference. The Mint 11 XFCE CD has Alsamixer 1.0.24.2 The Mint 14 MATE CD has Alsamixer 1.0.25 Not sure what version pauvcontrol is though.
