Audio Note UK DAC 0.1x Review - Dagogo

    https://www.dagogo.com/audio-note-uk-dac-0-1x-review/
The Audio Note UK DAC 0.1x is part of Audio Note UK’s entry level zero system. At first glance, the DAC 0.1x can seem to be a tough sell in a 2018 marketplace with far more modern DA converters competitively priced, most of them having half a dozen inputs and outputs and impressive techno babble about their processing power and feature sets.

Audio Note DAC zero or TubeDac? | Headphone Reviews and ...

The Audio Note Zero DAC uses a conventional 24bit/96kHz delta-sigma oversampling DAC chip by Burr Brown. Only the Audio Note DACs with the designation "1x" do not use oversampling (that's to say: any of the more expensive AN DACs). All of those non-oversampling AN DACs use the "Analogue Devices AD 1865" which is an 18 bit chip.

Presumably, an Audio Note phono stage would be the best match but the cost may make it more worthwhile to purchase the OTO Phono SE. Audio Note Kits sells an L3 (M3) phono stage for $1425 and would likely be the sonic match. Apparently Audio Note offers a Zero series phono stage and in Hong Kong I saw an Audio Note tuner in a second hand shop.

Audio Note CDT Zero I am considering a purchase of an Audio Note CDT Zero transport to go with my Sonic Frontiers DAC. I was wondering if anybody who is a current or prior owner of the cdt zero can comment on the sound and reliability of this transport.
