The 3.5mm jack is meant to be dual purpose for either line out or line in. However on mine it seems to be stuck on line out. I've tried reinstalling the drivers to see if it helped but nothing ended up changing. When I plug in my microphone or other line in device (I've tried a few) it detects as headphones.
