I was testing with Batman Begins. Anyway, I figured out that in RAW it was louder but much more distorted. It was also in just dolby digital. In PCM, the volume is lower but sounds much cleaner and uses dolby pro logic. The sub isn't as loud as I'd like it to be though. I guess I answered my own question, lol.
