All you need is a displayport -> hdmi cable. When you connect the displayport -> hdmi cable to your tv, a new speaker device will appear in your control panel > sound > speakers list. The name should be something like hdmi audio and also contains the brand name of your tv. Make sure you choose this new speaker as default.
