I have a NuForce Icon HDP amp/dac and s 10 yr. old Meijer-Corda Mk. II headphone amp. In comparison to the NuForce, the Pan Am definitely has a fuller and richer sound, while still producing crisp and sparkling highs. I haven't gotten into "Tube Rolling" (i.e. replacing tubes to modify/alter the sound) with the Pan Am.
