Speaking about their physical presence, Tempo's III series are two one-meter-tall boxes, with a backward tilt of about 10 degrees (7, to be precise), made by German brand Audio Physic. They're very well built and perfectly finished (and I mean perfectly in the most German way possible). Really charming.

The Tempo II has a delightfully clear and clean bass, much more dynamic than the Sparks. I highly reccomend these speakers.

Audio Physics Loudspeakers Model Tempo 25 The Audio Physics line is from Germany where precision engineering is a way of life. But while there is a lot of engineering in this design, and though important and of interest to the manufacturer and some audiophiles, I am of the opinion that engineering alone does not guarantee good sound.

Hey Thanks! Oddly enough I'm picking up my new Audio Physic Avantis this coming Friday, the 2nd. I can't wait to get them home. Yeah, I've auditioned much higher priced speakers, some I could afford, and some I didn't want to afford, and others I just couldn't afford, and I went with the Avantis because of the 3D sound, the imaging, but most important, a lot of …
