Sometimes I turn on the computer and the sound is distorted. The sample rate appears to have been halved and so the sound on media player and the video player is slow and distorted. Un-install and Re-install Drivers. Click on the Start button, and type “Device Manager” on the search bar. Open Device Manager, expand “Audio Output Input”. Find and double-click “Audio Output Input”. Right-click on the sound driver, and click Uninstall. Windows will prompt you to confirm the device’s removal.
