Re: Sound and Video plays too fast!!! Folow makinu1der2's advice. Also try to set the video/hardware acceleration to none, either in Windows media player or in the display properties. In WMP : tools => options => performance. In the display properties (right-click an unused place on the desktop => properties) : settings => advanced => troubleshoot.

Media Player, as well as Winamp, both play sound files so that Lionel Richie sounds like Alvin Chipmunk. My Media Player (9.0 and win2kpro) does NOT have a speed setting.
